Bruce/ALL> GERON "could" be the next amgn, i say that not as hyper/pumper as some have claimed, AND I repeat COULD, I say
that as someone that has followed this company from DAY 1.
I could be very wrong on this, and its still VERY RISKY, but having gone to several annual metings, followed EVERY pr, every science conference they attend, every paper i can get hand on(and not fully understanding half of it) AND KNOWING ITS STOCKS PERSONALITY..and having a few friends in biotech field (not at geron)i think I can say that you and all here may be witnessing the birth of an amgn or microsoft...maybe.
Someone said this stock had 3 years of rundown, and is sold out...bingo!!!
..yes.. i was in that 3 year rundown, painfully!!
Starting last fall, gradually, then thru winter, then concisively in march, the up/down volume, accum paterns, break of resistance points, flag formations, etc, have all been screaming BUY since March, except for a week or two scattered in (esp early aug)
Sadly, politics and lies(a pres talking about labs making babies for parts,) dented this company badly in the past few years, and throw in the big bear and you had a total washout. I was in that washout and was frozen like a deer in it. This is the most misunderstood company on the planet. (which is what i think higher powers wanted)
GERON is risky....
but could it be huge, yes..and i say that with the science they have, their methodical approach and not rushing anything(i think i understand their science better than some here, as zeev does the physics stuff!! (God i hated physics, only thing i did bad in high school/college, damn Newton!<G>)
Geron needs some money or a big partner....maybe if the market is willing and stays together they can pull of a secondary rather than more bad financing (some of which they got rid of in spring) They are not desperate though.
Theres been talk of a buyout rumours...thats all they are....O'karma/board wont allow a buyout i dont think, at least not at these levels. and there is toxic poison pill in place(which could be challenged)
They've got a lot of work to do, alot and they have to show more results....but this
IS NOT A ONE TRICK PONY
