That is absolute nonsense and completely untrue. Authorized shares does not equal dilution unless they issue them. Having a substantial number of authorized shares protects the company from an unwanted takeover and also provides opportunities for partnerships. I’ve seen this story over and over with growing young biotechs. It is standard procedure to evaluate and adjust the number of authorized shares. They would be remiss if they didn’t. Enough fake news!
