Sorry to hear you are in this predicament; maybe you should find a better friend who doesn't say one thing and then tells you something different a week later... Did he at least tell you how it is a scam...? Often times that is thrown around with no real evidence, only sentiment.
I have done my DD and I know there is a lot going on behind the scenes that has yet to be revealed. I would recommend averaging down if you are able to, but if not I would highly encourage you not to sell until the price recovers (which appears to be imminent).
We've all been there and these are good learning lessons. One of the best takeaways is to never go all-in at one price. Average up or average down, but never go-all in at one price. I like to grab a starter and then bid for shares. I learned this lesson the hard way as I'm sure many others have as well.
Even on this most recent decline I put more in at .0025, .0023, and .002. I still think this was a great buying point, but it sure is a bummer when you look at today's lows and know I could have loaded so many more shares at .0012
Anyway, sorry to hear you are down; most of us here are as this board and stock has been taken over by flippers, but watch this thing run hard on news and you make all your money back and then some in 1 day... I've seen it before and I know the potential we have here with this company.
Good luck bud and don't let the negative sentiment get to you; some people have self-serving intentions and I bet we hear less and less from them as they grab positions and we move higher.
