the existing financing that is in place for Walmart PPA's (3 versions I know of) and other in initiatives have many caveats and riders - look at Henricks articles on Seeking alpha - he may be the only person who understands them all.
Any activity the new CSO from a financing background does shouldn't disturb those agreements as the market will get concerned again just as they are recognizing that PLUG is growing its way to profitability in a controlled and planned manner.
The agreement with CHEM looks from what we have seen so far to be a pretty clean distributor ship agreement - they will buy in bulk to ship along with the rest of their solution to telcos etc around Africa India and Asia.
What other deals in China could look like though is for the new guy.
