BIOAQ is bankrupt under the United States Bankruptcy Code.

Only the Canadian subsidiaries (and Canadian assets) are under CCAA. The only jurisdiction the Canadian courts have over BioAmber Inc., the Delaware Corporation, is the guarantees they have over the Canadian subsidiaries liabilities.

Otherwise, the US court will handle the US assets and US corporation.
