#261065 RE: BonelessCat #261024

"Do we really need gross exaggeration?"

You're right. Probably not. The failure to secure a deal in twenty four months isn't a whole lot worse than the failure to secure a deal in 16 and a half.

"Geez, LR, none of that was my point."
Your point was limited to the arithmetic. The thread revolved around the issue of the lack of a deal in spite of the fact that there has been adequate information available to justify one for some time. It seemed appropriate to me to point out that you had once made it clear to everyone that Big Pharmas have been known to strike deals based on far less progress than IPIX has made with B-OM. Unless, of course, you think you were wrong about this 8/13/17 statement:

"BP has been shelling out 10s of millions up front and hundreds of millions in milestones for preclinical stage drugs for several years now. There is no reason they won't do the same even for a small PoC trial like OM."

Yet they haven't....whether that was your point or not. FWIW B-OM was done with its pre-clinical stage, if one was to mark that point at the beginning of the Phase 2 trial, in late 2014....over 4 years ago. I guess BP has been shelling out 10s of millions up front and hundreds of millions in milestones for other pre-clinical stage drugs in the 4+ years since.
