You make some valid points but I disagree with you about never holding. There is always a time to buy, sell, hold, take profits and even know when to cut your losses.
MGTI and other bitcoin stocks have had some tough times in the last year. However, I think bitcoin has bottomed with lots of volatility coming.
My views are simple right now, buy on the dips and hold for 1-2 years. If bitcoin goes to $100,000 and MGTI to $5 next week, I will be a seller. But for now, I will hold and wait.
This stock like other bitcoin plays are always risky plays. You have to learn to be patient and don’t let the big drops bother you. In the long term, you will make better gains they an IBM or APPL. Just be patient and learn these stocks move.
