I should not have used the word “crucial.” I should have said greatly improved. I did straight stick lsc gyn surgeries prior to DaVinci. DaVinci has made surgery easier and safer for me because of improved visibility, instrument precision, decreased fatigue, etc. Haptic technology would greatly improve tissue dissection. In a pelvis filled with endometriosis (scar tissue), it would be great to have haptics.
