Bingo, Thank you for your post. In an illiquid market when buys start pouring in MM's have no choice but to short. And if they want to stay in good standing with certain brokers they will fill it rather than lose credibility. I'm also certain that they do other unscrupulous things, and the SEC turns a blind eye, because this is the wild west of trading and we all need them to have a functioning marketplace (liquidity). My opinion.
