It's not a problem to wait and let the leg work be done by someone else for Mr Buffet. Raise all the funds to bring the project to market and then step in and buy it all for the long run of operation ( 35+ years).
When the financing is complete this project will be ripe for the picking. JMO

I tend to agree with you CDH! everything I have read regarding Buffett and Omaha Nebraska - says he loves the people and the State, and wouldn't live anywhere else!

He evidently reads the Omaha World-Herald newspaper everyday with his morning coffee- so it would be an impossibility for him not to be up on the "Elk Creek Superalloy Materials Project" going on's in his own back yard!

I believe he must be close to 90 now (I guess he must be taking his $100billion bucks with him when he dies), I'm sure Buffett's 3 kids are wringing their hands in anticipation?! (even tho I read somewhere they might get nothing?).

Back to your point, if he loves the people and the State of Nebraska as much as he claims...then he should know how much the State of Nebraska desperately needs this mining project succeed for the tax base, and hundreds of well paying Jobs, consider I read in 2017-2018 Nebraska had the dubious distinction of being the poorest State in the Union.

I say to Warren Buffett if you really love Nebrskans and the State of Nebraska as much as you obviously claim you do, open your heart and open your wallet to help support your fellow neighbors?

Seems like a reasonable request considering your age and stupendous wealth! (Nebraska could use some help).
