The laws you refer to went into effect some time ago. Again, if you don't want people to have your personal information, don't post it. You don't need to offer any info at all on your profile page if you don't want to.

It has to do with new user data laws going into effect

If and when there is a law in a jurisdiction to which iHub is subject, then we will take the appropriate steps to comply with that law.

For example, defamation laws in commonwealth countries like Canada and most of the EU as they apply to internet intermediaries like iHub are the polar opposite of U.S. law. We operate under U.S. law as that is where we are exclusively located.
