the positive is that the new mulberry strains have been confirmed and should see mulberry production increase to over 40 tons per ha/year from mature trees.
i was interested in this trial to see the yields of the new silkworms. would have been good to see confirmation of a new strain that could potentially increase yields for kbl in the future at quang nam. the kbl cocoon pics that were posted by truth in january didn't look that big to me.
these trial results do not confirm that kbl will have this same issue,as we don't know what strain they are using. i don't think this strain is what kbl was using.
what this does show is that this is not a one size fits all in quang nam.
