#716 RE: southacresdave #705

One good data to keep in mind is -

In 2017, total new sales (bookings) was (14 million revenue + 2 million (ending backlog 12/31/2017) = 16 million - 1.5 million (beginning backlog 01/01/2017) = $14.5 million.

In 2018, total new sales (bookings) was (24 million revenue + 16 million (ending backlog 12/31/2018) = $40 million - 2 million (beginning backlog 01/01/2018) = $38 million in bookings.

That is a great accomplishment, going from $14.5 million in bookings in 2017 to $38 million in bookings in 2018. 162% growth in new sales (bookings). It would be great to have another year like that.

I think due to manufacturing delays, this real metric gets lost somehow. Polar is high growth company with understandably few glitches in the ramp up (which was hard to predict), but lets remember this ramp up was steep in 2018 to maintain a 1:1 book to build.
