Quick correction: Rewalk is an assistive device similar to Ekso GT. Rex Bionic's exoskeleton is an example of a self-balancing exoskeleton, where the device is potentially doing all the work (https://www.rexbionics.com/rex-for-home-use/) Rewalk also has a rehabilitation exoskeleton as well that is almost identical to Rewalk 6.0 and conceptually similar to Ekso GT.

Rewalk 6.0 is a physically demanding device and needs the user to be quite fit but it is the fastest exoskeleton out there as evidenced by the WearRAcon race in 2016 and by a number of people finishing marathons in Rewalks in the last few years. Rewalk users need to go through significant training before they can take home their devices as it takes a while to "learn" how to move with the device. So using Rewalk is not something that the user does passively.

Having said that, it looks like Ekso made the right decision by primarily focusing on the rehab space. There are a number of accidents resulting in injuries happened while users were using their personal Rewalks. This is one of the many risks that had been discussed in Rewalk's 10-Ks and 10-Qs.

But I think the main problem with Rewalk is the screw ups of the management. JV adventure in China was a complete failure and it messed up the stock so bad that they may never recover. I also believe that they should have raised money through offering rather than getting a loan from Kreos (at that time their perception was pretty good in the market but they naively believed they can soon start selling enough Rewalks for breakeven) and that loan is biting them back in the rear end right now.

I still have 9000 Rewalk shares but I look at them as a dead investment. I like the ReStore product (it has significant potential to steal market share from Ekso GT as it is a significantly cheaper product for stroke rehabilitation) but I don't think Rewalk's management will ever be able to steady the ship.

Well skeptic, it is a mobility device for those paralyzed- simply put. Not a miracle cure and no rehab can regenerate loss muscle/nerve functions which is why the patients are "paralyzed"..

This said, it gives such a person their DIGNITY back to be able to get around as they may once have, feel like a normal person, instead of laying on their assess 24/7 dying slowly in life.. Will help their mindsets too

This is what I see and believe from this company and it is something that gives a human being dignity back at the minimum- NOT a bad thing at all...
