As to 'know more about oil' I'm hypothesizing in that African/Arabian Rift Plate / depth discussion. I count on the things KYOil, JRyan, Tisdal, yourself, and a few others here contribute.

I'm curious what's to be found along the two rift plates edge.

I assume the African Plate is also pushing to the east under the Arabian rift Plate, since the African sits lower, even as it has been described as moving south while the Arabian Plate moves north.

Strata in the Levant under the Med; Strata in the on shore ground of the African Rift Plate; Strata in the on shore ground of the Arabian Rift Plate which appears to be higher up than the African Plate.
