LOL! omg it was 2011 article about a 30 yr old scandal! from 1989, hello? he was elected for 20 more years after that with everyone knowing all about it.
All that matters is what the LGBTQ community thinks of him, because that is where this company will generate a lot of its $$$... and they see him as a HERO.
Its always about the target customer, not the critics who wont give this company a dime regardless.
(repost) Bobby, Barney and Bean know a lot of famous people, who have been inspired by their stories. We could see some other big names get involved with this stock.
I dont think Bobby will be in charge of managing much of the financials from this point forward. His job will likely be to use his connections and story to attract wealthy celebrities (gay or not) to invest/get involved... They might even go on a show like Ellen and pitch it. I would not doubt anything at this point. They keep surprising!
This could turn into one of the greatest pennyland story stocks. The political and financial power/experience isn't coming together for no reason. They have BIG plans
Barney was on CNBC about 2 weeks ago. He is on all the time... Can you imagine if he mentions this ticker next time? _______________
If they want, these prominent people can call many TV stations, PR firms, etc and mentioned that they’d like to go on and discuss a new LGBTQ focused ETF (and other services) and i bet they would get on several shows easily... Barney could no doubt.
The fact is, so many businesses and people are willing to support LGBTQ causes these says, it makes it easier than in the past. They feel obligated to... and they fear the social media repercussion if they don’t. _____________
Barney Frank DD: This is for the past year (filtered). Look at all the shows he was on...
Barney Frank DD: He has been in about 6 CNBC segments over the past month... but goes on several other channels/shows as well.
He is such an interesting/polarizing character, regardless of ones political leaning, he gets strong viewer ratings. I bet he gets calls everyday from people wanting to quote him for stories, or to go onto their show and discuss financial, political, LGBTQ issues, etc.
For example he was on HBO/Bill Mahar in January = millions of viewers
Can you imagine if he gets asked and/or goes out of his way to comment on this new LGBTQ ETF? We are a SINGLE comment away from this stock seeing bigger one day gains than the total value of this company.
