Nice post! Though hard to believe Ted at all at this point and he tends to always leave out relevant facts. But i will take anything positive at this point also.

According to the executive, MoviePass Uncapped is already seeing positive results. While he didn’t share concrete numbers, he says that subscribers have increased “well over 800 percent in the last few days. Really lol. That alone is total bs. lets say had 1 million. So now it has 800 million?

LOL! just using a MoviePass ticket to use the theater’s restroom — something surprisingly common in places like Times Square, where public bathrooms are hard to come by.

"already profitable." Wow! Really?

Important caveat: A Helios & Matheson spokesperson later clarified that Farnsworth meant MoviePass’ subscription business is profitable on a revenue-per-subscriber basis

Well, yeah, in two days, subscribers haven't even received their MoviePass card, so MoviePass is spending $0 on those new sign-ups, therefore "profitable on a revenue-per-subscriber basis."

You believe this shit?

"subscribers have increased "“well over 800 percent in the last few days. And that’s conservative.”"

First thing I thought, "well, how's Ted bullshitting here.... ah yeah, that's gonna be percentage change in sign-up rate.". Then I did quick math.... 800% X half a million (let's say)... ah... nope!

And sure enough:

Also, this post has been updated to reflect that MoviePass recently saw 800 percent growth in sign-ups (not subscribers), and to clarify Farnsworth’s remarks about profitability.

Farnswoth says:

To be clear, “gaming the system” doesn’t just mean watching a lot of movies — Farnsworth says he’s happy to have “hardcore” users, even if they’re buying way more than $9.95 or $14.95 worth of tickets.

Ah... so gaming the system is watching a lot of movies, because gaming the system "is not (only) just watching a lot of movies..."
So, the "fraud" is and was watching a lot of movies legitimately per MoviePass subscription terms.

And further in fact, Ted is now also super happy to have the heavy "hardcore" users even if they make MoviePass lose money.

This guy is such a fuck bullshitter. No wonder all mngt is leaving. No wonder Mitch, the CEO of MoviePass, does not speak for MoviePass upon yet another company direction change... back to money-losing.... which Ted is "happy" about.
