New England Patriots owner Robert K. Kraft has rejected a plea offer from Florida prosecutors that would have required him to admit that he was guilty of soliciting prostitution when he twice visited a day spa in January, a Kraft ally said Wednesday.
Kraft, according to a person familiar with the billionaire’s legal strategy in the high-profile case, believes the proposal from State Attorney Dave Aronberg’s office pushed the legal requirements for what is called “deferred prosecution” beyond what is routinely expected in misdemeanor cases.
