Every transaction is a buy/sell, this is why they are called “trades”.
If there are 1 million shares looking to be bought on a stocks bid and the total days volume is 100,000 shares being sold on the bid, are there more sellers of buyers looking for shares?... Someone might assume that 100% of the days volume was sales, but there are still 900,000 shares that never got filled= more buyers than sellers
Savvy investors don’t follow buy/sell data, It is insignificant and misleading. There is better DD to focus on... like the fact that the price has held this level for six days in a row, with millions of shares being sold on the bid.
