"Price action" is spurred by something, right? It doesn't just happen by itself. In the lead up to the 2016 peak in share price, there were endless claims of imminent gold production, 10,000 tons of ore processed a day, JV partners that were self-funding, and so on.
All of that hype proved to be nonsense. And now, there is a substantial group of bagholders that saw their investment crater by 90% or more in the last two years. Can they be replaced with another group that is just as enthusiastic? We'll see, but I doubt it.
