I don't think there's a good benchmark for such a thing as the evolution of start ups are all different, I'd imagine a lot of mechanical check lists are involved especially in the current climate. Delivery of the first plane paves the way for receiving an Operating License however then financing will have to be finalized and the game will really be on.

I just ran across an article from late last month that opened my eyes a bit to how cutthroat the sector is. We'll quickly find out the wisdom of taking on all the recent talent, either the experience of the hires prove crucial to survival or they've taken on excessive bloat in entering into what's going to be a den of canabalistic wild dogs. This should be fun and could end up being an epic opportunity. Worth the risk/reward imo.
