Again, if this were the case, VPLM would be making new lows, near new lows and it doing neither! It's not close and has a sizeable market cap. No question the market has inefficiencies, but no way to this level!
Gambling at a casino has a guaranteed negative expected value. Investing in securities does not. The comparison to gambling is dubious at best.
A well informed casino gambler can only hope to lose money very slowly over time, a well informed and disciplined securities investor can expect to make compounded gains of 9% or more over time.
The key words here are well informed and disciplined.
