Longterm, I would not really be interested in what lab personnel are testing but there have to be people at Abbott that are actually working with the test to get it on the Arcitect analyzer. Those are the ones that would most likely be the source of any leaks and would certainly be less than desirable employees if they did not care about their work. I think it is a given from all we hear and especially the independent studies that the RECAF test does work so I doubt if Abbott is doing few if any more lab tests with "coded" material. The test is so much better than any current test that I don't think there is any doubt that it could eventually proceed to market via a stand alone test. What we don't know is if the structure of the test is too complicated for a mass analyzer.
If the test was not complex, I do not think we would have even had a "feasibility" study in the first place.
