Unless you need the tax loss, I would suggest waiting until your broker declares the stock worthless. It could take years. I'm not sure what your ownership rights are, with you declaring the stock worthless versus the broker. It's always possible the company could be sold.

I think we are nearing the peak value for comic book IP.
