I don't know if we're still "on track" for all the acronyms that are pending (e.g. MRTP, et. al.),

but we'll know much more within 30 days or so.

"Spend more time with family" is the oldest and most trite excuse. Not that it isn't also true for SG with three young kids (plus who would want that commute or being a target of multiple extreme pressures from BT and BP?!).

So its clearly not the whole story, and we may never know...

But if he has any integrity at all and cares for his kids and the future of other kids, he'll have a few parting regulatory salvos for BT that might insure an end to nicotine addiction, documented via the man's own words, just yesterday.

Who comes after SG and whether he has any say at all in the choice, no one knows.
