Okay, so:

PC3200 will work. But reading between your lines, I'm guessing it will still need to be registered.

Nforce3 not optimal for the FX. Someone on Ace's suggested that nForce3 runs the HT links at 600 MHz as opposed to 800 MHz for the Via chipset.

Regardless of whether or not that's the issue you're referring to, do you know if that is true?

Also, whether or not the socket 940 FX will work with unbuffered memory, do you know if the 939 FX's will allow unbuffered?
