Perhaps if the story was 300+ ROBOTIC ASSISTED procedures vs 300+ traditional open technique procedures i’d find this article more credible. The fact that only 15% (90 patients out of 600) had robotic assisted procedures does not do not show proper statistics, therefore i find this article pointless. Traditional laparoscopy is NOT robotic surgery. Traumatic tissue manipulation, inferior instruments, electrocautery and technological equipment, 2D visualization, hard to reach biopsies in the pelvis (para-aortic lymph nodes, deep inguinal lymph nodes). Lets see an article that is Robotic assisted vs Tradional Open techniques.
