Funny you say that because someone in Europe just sued Mcdonalds over the Big Mac trademark, I think it was Big Mac, they won because their product represented the name accurately.
All I know is good luck to the "person" with the "Hemplife" trademark in advertising?? With no product?? its going to be a steep uphill battle for you to assume ownership or compensation for "Hemplife Today" a trademark that will represent a completely different tangible product in a completely different business category.
