Exactly, Howard. Oncosec may just be in position to leapfrog over Big Pharma (Merck, Bristol Myers, Roche)....if they can bypass the need for a checkpoint (KEYTRUDA, OPDIVO, or TECENTRIQ). If Merck were smart they would at the very least sign an exclusive licensing deal with Oncosec if they are not going to buyout the company. This is getting more interesting.....and lets see how Alpha Holdings figures into the mix....they are the largest Oncosec shareholders at this point.

Not enough time. I was looking at the competition at AACR 2019. Interestingly there seems to be a Chinese company just implementing one of your ideas (IL-12 + "vectorized"/encoded anti PD-L1 in a herpesvirus [instead of electroporation]):

LB-078 / 23 - New generation of oncolytic herpesviruses embodying immunotherapeutic genes encoding IL-12 and anti-PD-1 antibody

This seems to be this company: http://www.immvira-theravir.com/

I think the interesting thing is not only the construct, but that they are not a fully Chinese company (they show quite a list of U.S. university professors as co-founders).

On their product they write "Product line-01: oHSV encoding IL12 and anti-PD-1Ab (T3) is designed to be administered by direct injection into the tumor mass. In murine tests it is more potent and would be expected to lack the toxicity associated with the systemic administration of immunomodulators alone. Product line 1 is expected to enter clinical trials in January of 2019."

Given your comment in the near last paragraph (IL-12 on itself providing the "license" to downregulate PD1), I am muss less disturbed by the above! Phew! Thanks for your highly valuable input!
