On line brokers nor any other brokers really have any methods of detecting suspicious trading especially in a penny stock where few people care what goes on. They were alerted by someone else about the trading and they decided the possibility there could be legal responsibility to investors if they did not personally relay the cautions was why the restrictions were placed.
