It may take some time before the real value of the patent becomes clear. To me it is not strange that the Wall Street Journal will do a write-up.
emptyone This is a good explanation I think for the high market value: "No different than any other R&D company emerging into commercialization with an industry changing patent. Emerging R&D companies are front end loaded as the fundamentals will catch up with the valuation. Imagine there are some that refused to buy at .01 waiting for fundamentals to improve - you have to be prescient at this level to make $$$. R&D companies do not trade on fundamentals nor does their valuation come from fundamentals - the valuation comes from potential earnings."
