The 1 million that he recently purchased are common and subject to splitting just the same as all other common shares. That being said, the purchase of those 1 million shares could be part of a ploy to entice people to buy so the preferred that he does own, increase in value. Or some other non-ethical game by Todd for that matter.

But to be clear, the 1 million he purchased last week are common shares and are subject to splitting.
