I suppose if you go back and follow the thread, the entire discussion was about discrimination.

Does discrimination bother me, sure does. What I don't understand is how you can use holy scripture to justify discrimination, in a free country with "equal rights"; a country you fought for, theoretically to protect those rights. For all you know, you served with the very people you hold in (religious?) contempt.

You really should read Federal law on this subject. What's sick is that this country has the need for such laws. I can only wonder what you were raised to think about other races and religions. Worse, what are you teaching your children and grandchildren? Discrimination is taught; it's nurture, not nature. Yes, I know this is being done in the Middle East. Might you be doing it too?

A resonable question - no need to be SO defensive. You've already told us you have no tolerance for anyone who is gay, up to and including the fact that you would disown your OWN child if he/she told you they are gay.
Again...it's a reasonable question.
