It's cowardly to avoid answering a question by asking another. If you don't want to answer the question, have the courage to say so.
However that may be, I was in for 5 years. For some of those years my service was voluntary and for some it was involuntary, but it didn't make any difference ... I was fighting for every soul in my homeland ... even the ones I didn't agree with (of which there have always been a goodly number).
