Airworthiness still not issued on ANY of the L-1011 aircraft still located at Bruntingthorp and no one is working on them. The NAVY contracting authority POC is aware of this fact. You are right, the NAVY is going about this in a very safe manner by extending the option so that if a protest is made down the road, they have the “CYA” in place when they provide the final award to Omega.
