wall street, FYI, when someone does probation, that means they have been convicetd, you do not do probation without a conviction.. you saw his sentence was set aside, meaning, the judge CHANGED his/her mind for whatever reason(s), and gave a new sentence.. SO yes, he WAS convicted because of the eveidence, but this was modified by the same judge years later....Usually the lawyer had to call in some favors because this does not happen very often, but it does happen, and a change in plea does not happen unless there is a new trial , or the orginal judge sets aside the original conviction............it's that simple....

504 penal code which is always a felony reduced to a misdemeanor shows a lack of evidence but sometimes it’s better to take the deal than fight even when you’re innocent. I see nothing wrong here.
