indeed CJ -my best friend, his mom (amazing lady) had been struck by the exact same thing, same progression- she finally passed peacefully 2 months ago. really tough- seeing the person you love and know disappear well before the physical body goes.
Really shit laws we have in our country not allowing one to pass on when they ready.
