Thanks for the primer on how brokers handle short sales. The thing I find most interesting is the company just tried to sell 20,000,000 new shares (to raise 10 million), and investors here are worried about the effect on stock price a few million short shares might cause. Don't they realize 20,000,000 new shares issued by the company (if they could sell them) would be 10 times worse than a couple million shares you or I might short?
