Eddie owns holdco, not SHLDQ. Holdco, is an investor just like you and me in SHLDQ. These are two separate entities, and one being private has no bearing on the private/public status of SHLDQ until Holco purchases in full the remaining shares of SHLDQ and merges the company with his own.
