I think you are missing the importance of the new cards. You are correct there a few games that use the new tech but that won't last long.

The new realism the tech provides is setting a new standard. The game mfg's will be coding new games and new versions of games to take advantage of it ASAP. That will be a big new selling point for the games.

As the games come out for RTX NVDA will begin to release the tech in the more affordable cards. The high end gamers will be buying the high end cards because of the cool factor. That will drive the second tier gamers to want the tech also.

This is the leading edge.
