It was a blog in 2016 about medical MJ.
Unimpressive at this point but positive nonetheless.

Walgreen’s would be a total gamechanger

Here’s my thought process around CBD Oil products being carried in a large national or semi-national retail chain...

It doesn’t really matter which retail chain is first, because every grocery and pharmacy chain will be watching to see what happens

And I don’t think anything will happen

It is unlikely that the FDA will interfere and here’s why...

There are thousands of stores all over America selling CBD Oil products, and they have been for several years now, during a time in which Hemp-CBD was a Schedule I substance, and the FDA did absolutely NOTHING

The FDA doesn’t have any strong legal standing on restricting Hemp-CBD Oil products that are lab tested and properly labeled — the only times they have butted in over the past few years is merely to send letters about Hemp-CBD products that are making health claims

Hemp-CBD Oil in a bottle or any other container, that is lab tested and properly labeled, and not making any health claims, has been allowed to sell very freely, with absolutely zero interference from the FDA

That is why the revenues in the CBD Oil companies that are 5 years old (think CVSI and Charlotte’s Web) have skyrocketed over the past 1-2 years as the CBD Oil industry has really taken off and there has been no federal interference in the growing distribution networks of retail stores

Lucky’s Market, one of VATE’s retail partners, is a rapidly growing retail chain with stores in 11 states, and they have been carrying CBD Oil products for awhile now, and they are not afraid to talk about it — they aren’t hiding out

Here’s an article from October 2017, when Hemp-CBD was a Schedule I substance and federally illegal, yet Lucky’s successfully launched multiple CBD product lines:

Back then, they had 25 stores

Now they have 38 stores and are growing rapidly with Kroger’s guiding hand

And they continue to add more CBD products, most recently Irwin Naturals (1st column, 2nd row):

So getting back to my point...

It doesn’t really matter which retail chain is first, because every grocery and pharmacy chain will be watching to see what happens

And when nothing happens, except for a huge boost in media attention, status and revenue for the 1st major national or semi-national retail chain to break the ice and sell CBD Oil products in their stores, then a 2nd major retail chain will follow shortly thereafter

And then the race will be on...
