No, I'm not confused. And, no, Vic was an insider of Scythian, APHA, and Green Leaf Brands.

Again, Vic Neufeld was the middleman who "brokered" the deal after marking said assets by a whole bunch. He benefitted greatly by being the middleman.

I would say that if APHA purchased said assets at the same cost as other comparable properties/operations in the area - that Vic would be a "genius".

If nothing was "wrong", Vic would never have been fired by APHA.

Yeah, Im confused too. A short seller releases a deceptive report specifically designed to spook "simple retail investors" into panic selling their shares to drop the share price so that the short seller can profit - and he did big time, he and his team made $1.5 million.

Separate independent organizations who do not have a financial stake in Aphria, go and do their own due diligence to examine the accusations in the report. They find the accusations to be fake and designed to spook investors for the short sellers own financial gain.

The share price of Aphria then recovers to where it was prior to the short report indicating that the market deems the short report to have no credibility.

Based on these things, what does that tell us about someone who continues to believe in the short report and continues to reference it as fact?
