ALYI has no patents. Lithium IP was the subsidiary they created which had licensed the Air Products lithium patents. Those licenses are gone now that ALYI stopped paying the license fee (they had to pay $200,000 in May of every year and only had $167 in cash along with over $5,000,000 of debt - much of it in unpaid wages to employees but still debt). David Mitlin has the hemp patents. Not clear if those are licensed by Enermat (a totally different company not related to ALYI mentioned as commercializing Mitlin‘s research by both Mitlin and Clarkson which have never mentioned AYLI), owned by Clarkson, etc. AYLI did not hire David Mitlin as an employee nor do they own or license his patents (my guess is that they may license the cheapest one soon if not owned by Clarkson or Enermat and do nothing with it but PR it in order to get this stock to run again) as AYLI, which PRs ANYTHING positive would have clearly stated that. Rather they have engaged him in hemp research as project head of their new hemp energy storage efforts. This would normally mean that they are funding a research project at Clarkson with Prof. Mitlin. However their carefully worded “ engaged “ to “explore” could mean anything until we get more details.
