Finally, if you look w/ an OBJECTIVE eye, you can see where ONCI may have popped up on your scans maybe 17 or 21 Dec depending how strict your criteria are, and it paid to scale-out during its very short run into Xmas week, despite all the excitement over earnings.

On 27 Dec we saw even HIGHER VOLUME SELLING than we did on the POP, w/ that ugly reversal candle (again,27 Dec) so any trader I know would be completely out there...

If not THEN, when would you exit? You need some kind of money-making plan, other than hopes and dreams based on 'stories.'

You would also notice this past wk ONCI would NOT HAVE POPPED UP on any reasonable scan, so the 'share reduction' story would have been the only reason to buy into it this wk, and you can see how that went...

Maybe it'll turn around AGAIN next wk. Personally, I like to wait for evidence that shows up in my scans.

"I'm lucky to still have 1/2 my orig SHMP position here... why DON'T I have the FULL piece? Cuz I've learned my lessons: monetize EVERY trade when you can."

Today's action in SHMP is typical in runners, and again why I've stressed that 'taking some off the table' is how you make money.

The junk on iHub boards are NOT INVESTMENTS. They are ALL just trades that MAYBE can make you money. But that only happens if you sell at least a piece as it moves your way, and maybe another piece if it moves some more. Sure keep 1/2 or a 1/4 if it's really moving, but KNOW that it's gonna make an effort to take everything you have if you let it.

The day you start to consider hyped garbage as an investment that's gonna make you rich is the day you've become a bag-holder.

Don't be a bag-holder. Plenty of them already.

What will SHMP do next? Who knows, who cares? Not me. I let go the last piece this morning and will move on. So many movers, it's good business to NOT get stuck on 1 ticker - can't be repeated often enough: they're ALL garbage.

Just trade 'em.
