You'll have posts with thumbs ups & downs. What does that accomplish?
It will give you a head count of "Bulls" v "Bears" I suppose, for what that's worth.
You can Plus1 (thumbs up) right now.

...my solution is simple: an upvoting/downvoting system. is the information factual and helpful? upvote!
is the information clearly meant to confuse and slander? downvote! ...

it's pure chaos and provides no net positive to anyone except those with a vested interest in CAUSING chaos by throwing around lies and half-truths.

You know, if ahhh, one were to respond to such postings with a reasoned, well researched refutation of such "lies and half-truths", not only would one be able to help the company's reputation in the eyes of the remainder of the investment community, but wouldn't it also be an excellent self help mechanism? I mean - doing the research required for a reasoned response would help one's own situational awareness regarding one's investments??

Of course though, if an opinion vote on the post itself or the "basher" or "troll" label for the post's author is the only available response - well perhaps the investment basis really does need to be rethought???

Some of us like to decide on our own if "the information factual and helpful" or if it is "meant to confuse and slander". If I'm considering placing my money in a stock, I'll decide that all on my own after my own DD on the info posted.
