The AllerSpot™ microarray blood test for companion animals requires a licensed Veterinarian. The reason for this is that a blood sample must be collected from the companion animal and sent to Arrayit for processing and reporting. Proper sample collection is essential to getting accurate test results to ensure the heath and safety of your pet. Test results are provided to the Veterinarian make the proper diagnosis and recommend treatment. Reports are sent by email and a hard copy can be mailed upon request. If you are a Responsible Pet owner and your Vet is not currently offering this test, please inform your Veterinarian that we are happy to work with them and you to help you take the best possible care of your pet. If you do not have a preferred Veterinarian, please let us know and we will work with you to identify one in your area.
