I occasionally (and infrequently) forward good posts from here to Sandy with the hope he will get perspective on what the s/h's are thinking.

I think he is not saying for a reason. If there is a short position why tip of the MM to whatever Sandy wants to do. I think it will be shown to us when the time is right. I dont see a need to bug him about it.
