Well, as far as the lawsuit, I think it's not likely to get a ruling near term. The German case is a tough nut to crack. In my opinion, and I am not a professional or anything, best results of a favorable outcome is after a possible BO to a BP player who has the capital resources to fully pursue. Just my opinion.
As far as a board member, let the speculation begin! Will it be someone with NDA expertise to help Cormedix with filing? Are they leaving it open as part of strategic partnership to allow BP to fill as part of new deal? Is there a BO on the table so no need to fill for a short period of time? My guess is that it will get filled and who fills it is a big piece of the puzzle! All just my opinions! Good luck!
