the Kona relationship is not a free ride...not sure where it has come from. They have their own incredible challenges from their fast growth to manage. They have established a national footprint over the last 6 mo's. In order to do this they have 2 ful time sales, a full time operation person, a full time financial office admin person and are brining on more.
Any VATE products using Kona's new local new Gold Leaf distribution co will pay the same commissions at any other...also will need to create its own demand. Kona will not be 'selling' Vate.
As for other distributors...VATE will need to sell its products nationally...and needs to have staff to do this. They also need to have volume production channels set up for storage , regional bottling etc. in order to enlist larger distributors.
RM may have this all working...I hope so...but the co will need to sell and manage its own relationships.
That said - the Kona relationship is friendly as far as I know...and certainly will help where they can...Kona still has a huge ownership position in VATE as of last Q.
