They all quit when they decided to liquidate the company, as they KNEW (and even told shareholders) that there would be nothing left post-liquidation.
Most shareholders listened to the factual statement and dumped their stock. They didn't want to lose 100% of their investment, which is exactly what is going to happen to anyone holding these worthless shares when they are cancelled at the conclusion of the bankruptcy.
